Management Analyst
Includes any of the following tasks:
Collecting information about organizations. Reading reports.
Conferring with employees to make sure new procedures and systems work as planned.
Analyzing data gathered and creating solutions.
Writing reports of recommendations or giving presentations.
Helping clients make changes to their organizations.
Preparing manuals and training workers in new procedures.
Developing new systems for keeping and maintaining records and files.
Instruction and Product Support
Includes any of the following tasks:
Helping equipment users solve software and hardware problems, answering questions.
Installing software or make minor repairs to equipment following design or installation directions.
Setting up equipment for clients. Make sure the system runs correctly.
Maintaining record of telephone calls and e-mails. Tracking what types of problems, what we did to help, and what software we installed.
Reading technical manuals, talking with users, and conducting tests. Learning what the problem is and finding ways to solve it.
Talking with staff and managers to learn what new equipment is needed or what changes need to be made to equipment.
Supervising other technical support workers.
Developing training materials and training staff on company procedures.
Referring major hardware or software problems to the company who made the device or to service technicians.
Evaluating new software and equipment. Testing commands and functions to detect errors and making sure everything is running correctly.
Evaluating if customers are using the proper software and equipment for their needs.
Testing and monitoring software, hardware, and connected equipment.
Reading trade magazines and attend conferences to build knowledge about equipment, both hardware and software.
Music Instruction
Includes any of the following tasks:
Instructing how to play a musical instrument as soloist or as member of group. Specialized in keyboard instruments, such as Yamaha acoustical piano and Clavinova.
Encouraging students to study and rehearse music to interpret and memorize score.
Providing opportunities to practice performance to maintain and improve skills.
Encouraging students to compose original music.
Playing the piano for various musical group auditions, including soloist, orchestras and bands.
